Programs & Strategies
The United Labor Agency has a long-standing history of delivering innovative programming to the communities we serve. Since 2008, our primary focus has been workforce development—the intersection where employers’ talent needs meet the skills and aspirations of jobseekers. With the implementation of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), our approach has evolved into a more responsive, demand-driven model of workforce development services, funded through local Workforce Development Boards. This model emphasizes understanding the needs of both employers and jobseekers. We are committed to building a strong, diverse talent pipeline and making timely, high-quality job matches that help businesses remain competitive while supporting individuals on their path to meaningful employment.
The United Labor Agency Counseling Center (ULACC) provides compassionate, professional mental health services to individuals and families across the community. Rooted in ULA’s mission to support the well-being of working people, ULACC offers counseling for a variety of life challenges—including stress, anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship issues—in a safe, confidential setting. Our licensed therapists are committed to helping clients build resilience, find balance, and improve their quality of life.
