Maura joined the United Labor Agency in April of 2013 as a member of the Employment Specialist team. She worked directly with the dislocated worker population to assist with employment services. Through this program Maura helped individuals with job searching, resume writing, mock interviewing, identifying new career paths, and education funding. In September of 2016, Maura transitioned to the role of Operations Supervisor for both the Business Service and Employment Specialist teams. Her experience in her previous role has helped her work with Business Service Consultants, Recruiters and Employment Specialists in assisting individuals in their career goals.
Maura holds a Bachelor’s degree from Cleveland State University – College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences. Social Services has been Maura’s passion during her working career. Prior to joining ULA, she dedicated her time to assisting the Mental Health population with completing daily activities, finding housing, and medical care. During her free time, Maura likes to spend time with her other passion, dogs. She is actively involved with the Cleveland APL to help find homes for displaced dogs.
