Program Manager, OMJ|Summit County
Don joined the United Labor Agency in July of 2010 as a member of the Business Services Team. He began as a Business Service Consultant for the western region of Cuyahoga County working directly with employers and helping recruit quality talent for their job postings. In the late summer of 2011 he was appointed to a special Rapid Response project, working with neighboring GAPP (Geauga Ashtabula Portage Partnership) and helping them implement more of a business-focused model within their Portage County One Stop. Don then became the One-Stop Manager for OMJ|Cleveland-Cuyahoga’s Parma office overseeing the ULA staff at that location, working closely with all of the One-Stop partners, and handling the day-to-day facilities management. He became the Program Manager of our Summit County office in July 2016.
Don holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Heidelberg College and a MBA from Capella University. Prior to joining ULA, he worked in economic development as an Industrial Development Manager for the Cleveland Industrial Retention Initiative (CIRI) in Cleveland’s Collinwood/Glenville neighborhoods and later gained his workforce/WIA experience with The Employment netWork, where he managed a Business Services Team promoting One Stop services to Lorain County employers.
